Meet Dr. Teoman Ermete (Livonia, MI)
Dr Ermete earned his Doctorate degree from the College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1987, following undergraduate studies at Wayne State University. He attained Diplomate status from the American Board of Optometry in 2014.
He is a lifetime resident of the Detroit Mi area. Dr Ermete joined Suburban Eye Care in 2024, bringing with him over 35 years of clinical Optometric experience.
He enjoys getting to know his patients, to provide the vision correction options that will serve them best. He loves to travel, both here in the states and abroad, where he and his wife immerse themselves in the wonders and beauty of creation as well as cultures different from our own.

I had a great experience working with Suburban Eye care and Amanda in VT. Before starting eye therap... Show Morey, I had been struggling for a long time with a variety of issues, including dry eyes and headaches, all of which started after I had LASIK surgery. I saw multiple specialists, but nothing seemed to help. After starting eye therapy, the results were truly transformative. One of the biggest changes for me has been my dry eyes. I used to have to use eye drops every 30 minutes, but because of the eye therapy, I haven’t needed to use them at all! The reduction in my headaches has been another huge improvement. I’m also amazed at how much my visual memory has improved, which I never expected to be related to my vision issues. The staff at this center is knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. They do a great job at helping you understand the “why” behind the exercises and tailor activities to meet you where you’re at to ultimately reach your goals. I’m grateful for the progress I’ve made and would highly recommend this therapy to anyone struggling with similar issues.

They've helped me with exams, glasses and occasional eye pain issues caused by foreign objects. I read another comment you can't get exams here and then take the script to Costco. I've done that, no problem. They were perfectly ok with that. One of a few places that offered vision therapy if you need that.
