What We Do

The cases we typically treat in our clinic are very specialized. We receive referrals from medical doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and even clergymen. The individuals that visit our practice are uniquely identified by visual problems that nobody else has been able to solve.

Our clinic, located in Livonia, Michigan, treats hundreds of patients from southeastern Michigan and beyond. It’s nice to have 20/20 sight and see detail, but more importantly, we make sure vision is integrated.

We also treat people who are partially sighted, in other words, low vision patients. Treatments and therapy vary from patient to patient.

As an example, we give individuals a better visual organization after a stroke or head injury. We fit people who have corneal irregularities with scleral lenses.

Another large area in our practice is vision therapy. With vision therapy, we train the brain to work in better cooperation with the eyes or to coordinate the eyes and to make sure that vision is integrated. This can improve reading or help the person to move around without being clumsy. It can also apply to sports coordination.
